Well, life and the economy conspired against me this year, and I’ve had to cancel my elk hunt for this coming fall. I know, shed no tears for me… I’ve shed enough already. Wah wah wah and all that… But for those of you heading out for elk, particularly those who may be horsepacking for the first time this season, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has release a simple list of tips to keep your trip safe and enjoyable.
